Angela Merkel Is A Disgrace
We can argue about what caused the Syrian migrant crisis until we swear at each other and call each other stupid and misinformed, but that won't change what Angela Merkel did to perpetuate the sexual assaults and robberies that happened in Cologne on New Years Eve and any of the future tragedies that could unfold in 2016.
In and around March and April of last year, migrants began to flee Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. Almost half of the migrants were from Syria and more than 58% of them were men, according to the UN Refugee Agency. By summer, countries like Macedonia, Bulgaria and Hungary were building walls and attempting to keep refugees out of their countries due to the violence, resentment and crimes that were coming with them.
In August and September, migrants rioted at the Hungarian border. See here.
In September, migrants rioted and brawled while boarding trains in Croatia. See here.
Migrants rioted and clashed with police in Lesbos, Greece. See here.
It was reported that migrants drowned Nickelsdorf, Austria in garbage and human waste. See here.
Migrants also wreaked havoc at the Austrian border. See here.
The list of carnage and havoc wreaked by mostly male migrants goes on. Much of the havoc had started months prior to Germany's open border policy that was spearheaded by Angela Merkel and her government. Instead of acknowledging the havoc, Merkel decided to reassure Germans that the migrants were victims and that other European countries had a duty to open their borders. Out of all other European countries, Germany has accepted over one million unvetted migrants since the crisis began.
“I just don't think – and I'm speaking to those who believe that we should close Germany's border with Austria – that this will solve the problem.” – Angela Merkel
Just a few weeks leading up to the New Years Eve assaults, Angela Merkel refused to put limits on the number of migrants her country would take in. To make it worse, one day before the New Years assaults, Merkel told Germans to see the migrant influx as “an opportunity” in her New Year address.
“It is important we don't allow ourselves to be divided. It is crucial not to follow those who, with coldness or even hatred in their hearts, lay a sole claim to what it means to be German and seek to exclude others.” – Angela Merkel, December 30, 2015
On the night of New Years Eve, thousands of migrant men sexually assaulted, robbed and raped over one hundred German women. A lot of it could have been petty crime, but a lot of it was a scarring and horrific experience for women in Cologne. Some of it may have also been an Arab rape game called Taharrush Gamea, or just Taharrush. It's a fairly new phenomenon that has been exclusive to Egypt and parts of the Middle East – until now. You can read more about the less recent epidemic of sexual violence in Arab countries and Taharrush from a less Canadian, Middle Eastern journal here.
After the New Years attacks in Cologne, things started going downhill faster. Just a few weeks ago, an Iranian migrant pushed a 28-year-old German woman in front of a moving train at the Ernst-Reuter-Platz subway station in Berlin. She died instantly.
At around the same time, female workers at a German refugee centre reported being forced to undress by aggressive male migrants. “Some from an Arab region recently yelled at a colleague of mine 'We decapitate you'”, said one of the women. Among the decapitation threats and forced undressing, other women reported migrants complaining and threatening hunger strikes and violence over their living conditions.
To address a growing level of sexual harassment and assault, the German government began distributing “A to Z” brochures about behaving appropriately in Germany. The brochures advised migrants that homosexuality is legal and that sexual assault and public urination are not. The brochures also included graphics reminding newly landed migrants that they could be prosecuted for slapping women. The brochure immediately became the focus of ridicule and mockery on social media. You can read about it here.
To make matters even worse yet, German authorities have admitted to losing track of over 600,000 migrants. That equals more than half of Germany's total influx of migrants since the beginning of 2015.
“The German government is unable to say where more than half of one million asylum seekers allowed into the country have ended up. Government statistics show that Germany registered 1.1 million applications by the end of last year under its EASY system, which does not record much more than an applicant's country of origin.” – Mail Online, January 21, 2016
The most disgraceful aspect of Germany's migrant influx is the country's EASY system. The EASY system is supposed to distribute migrants and register them in a timely, efficient manner. Unfortunately, this system has allowed 600,000 migrants to vanish and become unaccounted for. With Angela Merkel's mad rush to relish in white guilt and erase Germany's horrific past by opening her country's borders, all important tracking measures and vetting practices have collapsed.
If the horrific nature of Merkel's disgraceful leadership wasn't enough to make Germans hot around the collar, a group of migrants added irony to the whole situation last month by filing a lawsuit against the German government. More than 200 migrants filed a suit against Germany's Office Of Migration And Refugees for taking too long processing and placing refugees.
“More than 200 migrants in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia have launched a lawsuit against the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees because they have been waiting for over a year for a decision on whether they can stay in Germany.” – Mail Online, January 21, 2016
People looking in from the outside can't help but wonder how far Germany will let the insanity go. The entitlement and absolute depravity of many migrants hasn't settled or shrunk since Germany has announced a slow-down in its acceptance of migrants or distributed silly pamphlets warning against inappropriate behaviour.
Since Merkel's backtracking and Germany's lessons in behaviour, migrants have shit in swimming pools, masturbated in hot tubs, assaulted female bystanders, strewn trash across German streets, thrown rocks at police officers, and laughed in the faces of anyone who challenges them.
“An asylum seeker has masturbated in the hot tub and ejaculated into the basin. This is also recorded on the surveillance camera.” – Rainer Kallweit, Bild
The hot tub Kallweit wrote about in the German press was at an historic bath house called the Wilhelmine Zwichau Johannis baths. The events were corroborated by local bathers and city officials. It was also reported that one of the migrants took selfies of himself with a smartphone. The famous bath house has since banned migrants from entering.
In the midst of Angela Merkel's disdainful complacency and willingness to appease progressives, the German people have become louder with every passing day. Something has begun to brew in Germany that might derail Angela Merkel's leadership and open the door – wide open – for a right-wing ascendancy.
It's difficult to call Merkel's Christian Democrats conservative. They're closer to what Americans and Canadians would call Bernie Democrats or socialists. The right-wing solution to Merkel and her Bavarian Christian coalition lives in a party called Alternative For Germany, or the AfD. In fact, even her coalition partners in the Christian Social Union have criticized Merkel's open border policy. Without their support, Merkel's coalition government would collapse.
The possibilities of a Christian Social Union and AfD coalition have been swirling in some corners of Germany since the migrant situation has brought things to a boiling point. The groundswell of backlash could shift Germany's right-wing nationalists to unification, which could lead to either a positive or negative outcome. Many Germans probably believe that the worst has already happened and that German society has deteriorated since 2015. Their solution and enthusiasm for a new right-wing coalition could be the next step in an escalating German revolution against the disgraceful leadership of Angela Merkel.
It may be time for Germans to elect a leader who won't show blatant disgust for her own country's flag in front of media.
