As The World Burns...

August 1st, 2014 | T. Carter

The need for strong American foreign policy has never been greater. As the world burns, Barack Obama's White House tells us, "The world is less violent than it has ever been." Deaths in Ukraine and Gaza mount while anti-democratic terrorists attempt to suppress freedom and rain fire upon their enemies. This is happening in the most fragile places. Places that had more calm and resolve under the Clinton and Bush Administrations than they do under the Obama presidency.

Even at home, Mexican refugees flood across the American border in historic numbers, amounting to the greatest humanitarian crisis since Hurricane Katrina. As the world and America burn, Barack Obama relaxes and tries to dilute Americans by pretending that everything is fine and that the world is better off than ever.

Vladimir Putin saw Obama's weak leadership and reluctance for confrontation early on. It's because of this weak American leadership that Putin has boldly gone where no Russian leader has gone since the fall of the Berlin Wall. Putin knows just as well as Obama that there will be absolutely no consequences for his actions. Just the same, as Obama's seemingly anti-Semitic views dictate his foreign policy, Hamas uses the opportunity to rain rockets on Israel...over 3000 to be precise.

For the first time in five decades, the world is seeing what the world could look like without America. Often the focus of criticism and accusations of global policing, America under the Bush Administration had one of the most resolute and intimidating foreign policies. Israeli and Palestinian violence was minimal, Vladimir Putin and Russia were contained and tamed, and China was a minimal cyber threat.

Today, China has expressed its willingness to test US foreign policy by flexing its muscles in the South China Sea and threatening Japan's sovereignty. It has also boasted about its military capabilities in a hypothetical war with the United States. Since Obama's election, the Phillipines, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Japan have expressed fears about armed conflict with an increasingly bold Chinese military.

At the US/Mexico border, thousands of unattended South American children continue to starve and suffer with the false promise of amnesty. Obama and Democrats have pushed for immigration reform that involves amnesty and, with an apparent deadline that would implement amnesty for illegal immigrants that have entered the US before a certain date, a rush for the US border has caused an unmanageable crisis. Rather than act on the crisis by breaking the news to immigrants that they won't get amnesty, Obama and high ranking Democrats have ignored the situation. They've kept the promise of amnesty open, giving the immigrants waiting at the border even more hope. The minority leader of the House, Nancy Pelosi, went as far as telling some of the immigrants that "We are all Americans now." From the other side of her mouth, Pelosi told Americans and state sheriffs that any immigration reform is unlikely

Most of the children that have entered the US over the past few months will likely be sent home at some point under current US law. The problem is that many of them are unattended and their actual homes are unknown. Returning many of the children to their native countries with very little information will prove a daunting task for US border officials. So far, the Obama Administration hasn't offered much for support. The Democrats have used the children of immigrants accumulating at the border as an emotional tool to steer toward immigration reform. Word around the campfire also indicates a possible executive order allowing up to five million illegal immigrants a permanent home.

The humanitarian crisis has put a significant financial burden on the small towns and counties along the US border. To help ease the childrens' suffering, Glenn Beck and Texas Senator, Ted Cruz, have spearheaded a humanitarian mission bringing teddy bears, soccer balls, and medical supplies to the children. Both Glenn Beck and Ted Cruz are religious conservatives. Together they've done more than the liberal Obama Administration and elected Democrats.

In Israel, rockets continue to be deflected by the nation's Iron Dome. In some good news, a CNN/ORC poll revealed that 57% of Americans support Israel and believe that Israel's actions against Hamas in Gaza are justified. While Gaza and Ukraine burn, however, President Obama chooses to continue his fundraising mission across the West coast. During the last week of July, Obama pulled in an estimated $6 million for his Democratic counterparts.

Going back to the teachings of Obama's long time idol, Saul Alinsky, we see Alinsky's ideology and political strategies at work in Obama's White House today.

The last book Alinsky published before his death was Rules For Radicals in 1971. Alinsky was a community organizer, just like Obama, and his book laid out the methods in which a radical could organize large groups and affect change by creating crises. One of Alinsky's strategies involved symbol construction and the power of symbolism when rallying fellow radicals. In both Obama's campaigning and leadership we see elements from Rules For Radicals at work.

The collapse of the Middle East, which includes the early and irresponsible withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, has seemed more deliberate and calculated than most of America's media lets on. Obama comes across aloof and unaffected by the death tolls and destruction plaguing Libya, Iraq, Israel, Gaza and Ukraine. In a recent speech, Obama admitted that he has nothing to worry about and that he can do whatever he wants in his last term.

Obama's deliberate neglect of foreign and domestic policy is meant to affect and bring about the change described in Saul Alinsky's strategies. Allowing Hamas to fire rockets into Israel and use civilians as defense without consequence allows the world to grow wary of Israel, something that should make some Obama mentors like Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers very happy.

Obama's Affordable Healthcare Act aims to create a crisis for small private practices, bankrupting them, and allowing larger healthcare providers to monopolize the market. This could be the first step toward fully nationalized healthcare in America. With fewer corporations controlling a market, the government becomes more able to swoop in and take control, just as they did with General Motors during the 2008 economic meltdown.

The importance of understanding the influence of what is known as the "Cloward-Piven Strategy" is mandatory for understanding Barack Obama's political strategies. Both Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven were admittedly inspired by Saul Alinsky. Respected conservative strategist, David Horowitz, described their strategy accurately.

"The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The 'Cloward-Piven Strategy' seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse." - David Horowitz

As the world burns, Americans must realize that it is entirely intentional. Obama's foreign and domestic policies may seem like mistakes, but they aren't. As the world burns, Obama and top Democrats sit back and watch it happen. The resulting solutions to their unfolding disasters could be the ultimate undoing of Americanism and the final nail in the Constitution's coffin.

Obama's presidency is a mixture of weakness, deliberate inaction, and manufactured crises. It's a strategy that all Americans will pay for in one way or another.
