Report: 504 Cases Of Sexual Misconduct In Canadian Military, Including Child Pornography

A report compiled by the Canadian Armed Forces, released Friday, has revealed 504 cases of sexual abuse, misconduct and harassment inside Canada's military ranks between 2016 and 2017. Three of the cases involve child pornography.
288 of the reported cases were referred to military police and so far have resulted in 27 guilty verdicts. Many of the cases are ongoing, but some have led to 180 administrative reprimands and 24 releases from duty.
The majority of cases involve lewd conduct, such as jokes and the spreading of sexual imagery. Other cases involve harassment, assault, voyeurism and child pornography.
The report is a part of "Operation Honour", which aims to tackle sexual misconduct in the Armed Forces.
