Naheed Nenshi's Approval Plummets

Following years of extraordinarily high approval ratings, Calgary's mayor, Naheed Nenshi, has lost favour among Calgary voters.
The latest poll from Mainstreet Research puts Nenshi's approval at 52% in April, down double digits from January of this year. Mainstreet gauged the mayor's approval at 65% in January, then 60% in February and 56% in March.
Nenshi's steady decline in support is happening in time for Calgary's next civic election, which takes place this October, pitting Nenshi against councillor Andre Chabot and others.
